We are at the very close of time and there is no excuse any of us can offer that we do not and cannot have all the truth on any Biblical matter. This goes for the prophecies as well.

Here is His promise that nullifies any and all excuses,

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Where then is the problem? It has to be that but very few do have The Spirit of Truth!

OK, what about these days the same as the days of Noe? Lu 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Just as surely as His Spirit convicts us of sin "IF" we truly are wanting the truth He will convict us of it when we have arrived. Where do we go but to His Word? Why should you listen up to the theology of men and their commentaries when the greatest teacher is promised to you and He is available 100% of the time.

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.      (wow, a dual promise is given!)

He was sent when Jesus left for Heaven

Problem is there is but the very few who do truly want the most precious Jewel in this world and really get down to business and go all out to find it, yes and He wants us to find it!

To have the Spirit of truth, all must be surrendered, not a whit withheld or He cannot come and dwell in the soul temple.  No other master must be held to in the least, He alone must be the sole, soul Master.  Self must die and not resurrected!

 As another contributor has stated,

" We must have the truth on every point. And we must hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end. We are to draw near to God, and then he will draw near to us. The God of heaven gave his Son to redeem us, and we are to become partakers of the divine nature, that we may be vessels unto honor, fit for the Master's use."

Note, the Spirit of Truth is Christ in you, of course He dwells in us by Spirit.  Paul tells us He in us is our hope of Glory.  Also known as the comforter.

We not only now have no excuse to know the truth but also with Christ in us we also have no excuse to be continuing in sin of which it is adamant we overcome it!

Re 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Note what John tells us on this,

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Joh 8:31 ¶ Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Did you notice, "If you continue in my Word, then ye are my disciples indeed."
