The Seventy Weeks of Daniel Nine

The prophecy of the 2300 years and the prophecy of the 490 years, (70 weeks of years ), is on the Jubilee calendar, a day for a year, weeks of years and not weeks of days.  Also both start the same year and the 70 wks. of yrs.  comes off the 2300 years.
Daniel is told that 70 weeks, (of years), were determined ( means taken off of the 2300 years of chapter 8, men put in the chapters )   upon his people, the holy city and to finish the transgression.

Note, The 2300 yrs brings us down to our year 1844.

Then more is added in verse 24 that would be the fruition.

Hebrew for “determined” chathak khaw-thak'
a primitive root; properly,  to cut  off, i.e. (figuratively)  to decree:--determine

Christians, here is another proof that the 70'th week of years fell, as time must, in it's order.  These are a cutoff of the 2300 hundred years.  If that 70'th week of years were pulled out it would have thrown the 2300 years short 7 years, no way Hosea.  Dispensationalism wants to have it not fall where time must but clear down at the end.  It cannot be done, get over it.

Da 9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
Da 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most Holy.

They finished the transgression that 70'th week, crucified Christ and the Apostles finished His ministry to them the rest of that 70'th week of years.  He made an end of  sin, atoned for them, His Blood and the most Holy was anointed.

First that was to come to pass is 7 weeks of years the street and the wall would be rebuilt in troublous times. Then plus 62 more weeks of years verse 26, the Messiah to come would be cut off. The rest of verse 26 describes the troublous times.

Messiah's ministry was the cutting off, not the 70'th week, the fact He died the mid year of that week proves it.  His Crucifixion cut off His ministry and the Apostles finished it.

Verse 25 below tells us this vision starts with the decree to restore and to build Jerusalem.

In the seventh chapter of Ezra the decree is found. [Ezra 7:12-26.] In its most complete form it was issued by Artaxerxes, king of Persia, B. C. 457. But in Ezra 6:14 the house of the Lord at Jerusalem is said to have been built “according to the commandment [margin, decree] of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.” These three kings, in originating, re-affirming, and completing the decree, brought it to the perfection required by the prophecy to mark the beginning

Da 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Da 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

His own cut Him off as their Messiah after He began His ministry at baptism, 27 AD and ministered 3.5 years and He was cut off, crucified, but that was not of Him nor for Him or His people.

The above weeks brought to view, 7 + 62 weeks = 69 weeks of years.  After the 62 which followed the 7 Messiah is cut off.   In short Messiah in 69 weeks of years from when the vision is to begin this is a cut off of the 2300 years that would go further on down in time. Plainly put, from the year 457 BC to Messiah the Prince would be 69 weeks of years, 483 years brings us down to year 27 AD He began His Ministry. The years then, 27 AD , 28, 29, - - 30 AD, - - 31, 32, 33 AD would be the years of that 70’th week. He died in the middle of the week, 30 AD, above, ministry cut off and fulfilled exactly the prophecy verse 27 below.

First some scripural advice. -

Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Da 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
In the middle of the week “sacrifice and the oblation” ceased as the true Lamb of God fulfilled the blood covenant. Verse 10 below “once and for all” from Adam to the last one that comes to Him.

Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Note, BC 457 was a Jubilee year and 10 Jubilees and the gospel went to the Gentiles 34 AD a Jubilee year, a new beginning, Jubilee years are all a new beginning year.

Dan. 9:27 above the New and better covenant was confirmed by Him and His disciples after His death finished that whole 7 years, and then a Jubilee, 34 AD, a new beginning went forth for the Gentiles.

This cannot be denied, anyone who teaches different is a liar and a false teacher.

2Pe 2:1 ¶ But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
